Recommend potential victims to keep track of the number of days, hours, customers worked and amounts received / issued for a possible compensation action to be initiated later.
Ask questions during the intake interview to find out whether there is evidence to be found in the preliminary phase in order to better build up a claim.
Investigate why judges declare claims inadmissible due to a disproportionate burden on criminal proceedings.
Explain better to the victims what compensation means.
Pay more attention to victims of other types of exploitation (such as labour exploitation) and explain that they can join as a disadvantaged party in a criminal case.
Give extra attention to minor and foreign victims.
Advise victims, if appropriate, to seek professional help (e.g. psychologist), this can also serve as evidence in case of a claim.
