Letter for elected representatives

For the European Day against Trafficking in Human Beings, 18 October, La Strada International members and its partners sent a letter to European elected representatives and governments (including the Members of the European Parliament, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, etc.) to ask them to commit to implement a 6-point action plan to ensure that trafficked and exploited persons can have access to their right to compensation without barriers. Indeed, although the EU introduced the Victim’s Rights Directive in 2012, still there are different barriers that victims encounter to obtain compensation, especially if they are undocumented migrants.
